A private cab from the airport into Rishikesh starts around ₹899; shared cabs and buses are cheaper but slower.
Rishikesh has its own station — Yog Nagari Rishikesh (YNRK), opened in 2021 — but it's served by relatively few trains. For speed and frequency, take a train to Haridwar Junction (about 22 km away), which is very well connected to Delhi and beyond, then continue by cab or bus. Fares range from a few hundred rupees in sleeper class to around ₹1,500 in AC.
